Immune Boosting Garlic Kale Saute

Cold and Flu season are upon us! As natural mama’s we want to make sure we help our families immune system stay nice and strong so that we don’t get sick. It’s SO SO SO important we are getting nourished through the food we eat so that we can fight illness when it tries to attack us. Garlic and Kale are both SUPER foods so it’s a good idea to serve these seasonal veggies to your family. I don’t know about you guys but raw garlic and kale don’t really sit well in my stomach so a sauté is the perfect solution. You can read all about the power of garlic here and the power of kale here. This perfect combo makes  a delicious side to your morning eggs or evening steak. 



 Serves 2

  • Half of an onion, chopped (preferably organic) 
  • 7 cloves of garlic, chopped ( I know it’s a lot of garlic but you won’t regret it I PROMISE!)
  • 3 Tablespoons of coconut oil-buy it here
  • 1 bunch of kale, chopped (preferably organic)
  • sea salt-buy it here 



  1. Heat the coconut oil in a large skillet 
  2. Saute the chopped onions and garlic until fragrant and soft
  3. Add the kale and sauté until soft 
  4. Sprinkle with sea salt 
  5. Enjoy!
